Volunteer with SportAbility of Iowa

SportAbility of Iowa is committed to providing inclusive sport and recreation opportunities to people of all ages with physical disabilities and/or visual impairments throughout the eastern Iowa Corridor. Our organization’s success depends on the involvement and commitment of our volunteers to help us realize this mission.

I slept and I dreamed that life is all joy. I woke and I saw that life is all service. I served and I saw that service is joy.” ~Khalil Gibran

All SportAbility of Iowa programs require the assistance of volunteers to ensure the safety of our participants and organize and run events. If you have the time to give, help us in our effort to enhance the quality of life of our participants. Volunteering is a truly rewarding experience and plays an integral role in all aspects of SportAbility.

To assist with the various programs offered through SportAbility, prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is encouraged but not a requirement. Training is available for all programs that you may be interested in assisting.
