You know it’s summer when you hear the crack of the bat and the cheer of the crowd!
Wheelchair Softball is played on a hard surface (asphalt, cement) to make it easier to move the sport chairs. Equipment includes 16″ softballs, regulation bats, and NO gloves (they make it difficult to propel the sport chairs). Players may bat off a tee or with live pitching.
All equipment and instruction are provided, with the program culminating in a 3-inning game. Children and adults with and without physical disabilities are encouraged to play, challenge themselves, and most of all, have fun!
